Baby Items
Sponsor a baby shower for some of our mother’s in need, you can also collect gently used clothing, high chairs, exersaucers, pack and play, bouncy seats etc. Lotions, ointments and baby shampoo also needed!
Eye Glasses
Collect used eye glasses and donate to the Lions Club.
Shoes
Collect used shoes and bring to “Soles for Souls” at the Warwick Assembly of God Church 60 South St. Warwick, NY 10990 Start Date: Tuesday, February 3, 2015 End Date: Monday, February 3, 2020
Bake Sales
Help raise money for a cause by selling baked goods!
Clothing Drive
Sponsor a clothing drive for our SonShine Boutique. Collect clothes that are in season, clean, no holes or rips, with buttons/zippers that work. Bag the clothing according to men’s, women’s or children’s and break it down further into size. Items can be brought to the Chapel of the Sacred Heart on Mondays 10-1, Wed 10-7, and Thurs 10-3.
Diaper Drive
Sponsor a Diaper Drive for Our Mother’s Cupboard. Items can be brought to the Chapel of the Sacred Heart on Mondays 10-1, Wed 10-7, and Thurs 10-3.
Food Drive
Sponsor a Food Drive requesting tuna, canned salmon, canned chicken, peanut butter, jelly, applesauce, raisins, almonds, pasta, spaghetti sauce, soups, non sweetened cereals and shelf-stable milk. Items can be brought to the Chapel of the Sacred Heart on Mondays 10-1, Wed 10-7, and Thurs 10-3.
Meal Train
Offer to provide a dinner to a parishioner who is ill or who is dealing with a family member who is ill through the Meal Train Program.
Our Father's Kitchen
Our Father’s Kitchen is open to allowing two Confirmation Candidates to help at OFK each week. All Students must register with Parish Outreach and be placed on a schedule. Teens are asked to come from 4:30 to 7:00pm on the scheduled Wednesday at the Chapel of the Sacred Heart. Work will involve set-up, clean-up, and the preparation and the serving of meals for those in need. The supervisor on the schedule will sign their service log.
SonShine Boutique
Students are also permitted to work at the SonShine Boutique on the first Saturday of the month at the Chapel of the Sacred Heart from 10-2. They may just show up and the Adult Contact, Kathy Beeler, will sign their service log. If they are off from school or on summer holiday they may volunteer on Thursdays at the Chapel from 9:30am-3:30pm.
