The Mother Teresa Furniture Program is named in honor of one of the world's greatest champions of the poor, Mother Teresa. Our mission is to provide basic furniture to the less fortunate in our area, free of charge.

How Can You Help?

The Mother Teresa Furniture program is always in need of strong men and women to pick up and deliver furniture to those in need!

We receive many calls from people in our local area in need of furniture. We utilize our parish vehicles. All drivers must take the safe driver course from Catholic Mutual Group online for free and submit course certification to Sacred Heart Parish Outreach. 

For the past ten years our dedicated program coordinator, Nancy Seliga, carefully schedules all pick-ups and deliveries weekly. Her hard work and generous effort bring so much to the community.

Whatever your availability is, we can work with you!  Perhaps you and a friend can work together?  This is a much-needed ministry in our area.  We have helped hundreds of people in need since this program's inception. Other Ways to Help

• Donate gently-used furniture. We are able to pick up the furniture if it is outside of your home. But please be aware that we have limited storage and we get full from time to time. We can accept the following:
  • Beds of all sizes (except KING-size) and bed accessories including box springs, mattresses, headboards, and linens.
  • Dressers
  • Nightstands
  • Sofas
  • Loveseats
  • Living room chairs
  • Coffee and end tables
  • Kitchen/dining room tables and chairs (especially small tables!)
